The 2020 and 2021 Haustein Cribbage Invitationals were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Rather than leaving those years vacant, the tournament recognized "19" as champion. The name references both COVID-19 and the famous "19 hand" in cribbage—an impossible hand used to represent a score of zero and put a dollar in the pot.
